The Royal College of Pathologists are holding a training day for Medical Examiner Officers on 5th November.

A Medical Examiner system is being rolled out across England and Wales to improve the process of death certification, particularly for the bereaved. The Royal College of Pathologists is leading on the training of Medical Examiners (MEs) and has recently agreed to provide training for Medical Examiner Officers (MEOs) as well. This is the first of these training days and is open to anyone who has been appointed to, or is considering applying to, work as an MEO.
