New Executive Committee Member – Pippa O’Brien

We are excited to introduce our newest Executive Committee Member, Pippa O’Brien.

“I worked for the Manchester College, within their custodial Education division, for nearly 10 years.

As their Education Business Manager at a number of sites, I have worked with both young offenders and adults working to engage them in education. My time as Education Business Manager developed my business planning, analytical skills and passion for supporting people whilst driving the business forward.

I joined Hambleton District Council as their Crematorium Business Manager in August 2021 looking for a change in my career path and one that would develop my passion for people.

People are at the heart of all that I do and I hope that with my appointment to the Executive Committee I can learn from those who have been in the industry for many years and continue to keep the families we work with on a daily basis at the centre of all that we do.

I adore the outdoors so you’ll usually find me in a kayak or walking with my lovely Beagle Lola, before stopping at a nice country pub for a Sunday lunch and a drink to finish the weekend off!”
