To provide added value and to maintain more accurate records, the Executive has agreed to the creation of a Register of FBCA Certificate of Proficiency Qualified Crematorium Technicians.
The Register will be accessible to FBCA Officers and Member Cremation Authorities via the Members Section of the FBCA Website, allowing those who wish to do so to verify that a technician’s qualification skills are current. This registration can be used as part of the Technician’s qualifications for the purpose of the Process Guidance Note 5/2 (12) including where setting up an environmental management system (EMS) which includes training, or when demonstrating a technician’s qualifications during an FBCA Inspection visit.
