Scottish Government Updates Guidance: Singing and Music

17th June 2021 | COVID-19 Scotland

The Scottish Government has updated its Coronavirus (COVID-19): guidance for funeral services with respect to singing, chanting and music in small groups from level 2.

Throughout this pandemic there will continue to be a risk of transmission of coronavirus (COVID-19) wherever families and communities come together following the death of a loved one from any cause.

Whilst recognising the importance of these rituals and gatherings, it is strongly advised that this guidance is strictly followed to reduce the potential spread of infection.
