Scottish Sub Committee Invitation

Dear Member,

With the lifting of the Covid restrictions, the Federation is pleased to announce a meeting of the Scottish Sub Committee at 10am on Thursday 16th September 2021. The meeting will take place in Glasgow, at the DoubleTree by Hilton (Cambridge Street, Glasgow, G2 3HN).

The event will be followed by lunch, kindly sponsored by OpusXenta.

I am pleased to confirm that the meeting will be chaired by the President of the Federation, David Marren. In addition to the normal business, we will receive an update from the Senior Inspector of Burial, Cremation and Funeral Directors, Mr Bert Swanson, along with a presentation from Mr Scott Storey from OpusXenta on the increasing use of technology in our sector.

I do hope you will be able to attend this first meeting of the Scottish Sub Committee since the start of the pandemic, especially to welcome our President and distinguished guests. In order that we can arrange the catering, I should be grateful if you would confirm your attendance with the Federation Admin Team, and please share this invitation with colleagues who may not be on our mailing list.
