The Funeral Director: Code of Practice Consultation is Live!

Following input from industry experts, the Scottish Government are pleased to announce the publication of the Consultation. A big thank you to all who have been involved.

Before answering the Consultation questions here.

They’re seeking to capture as many responses as possible.

Things to note:

• The Consultation will run for just over 12 weeks, until 20 September 2019.
• Answers will be analysed and contribute to a final iteration of the code.
• The code will be statutory, requiring all funeral directors operating in Scotland to adhere to it.
