Scottish First Minister Announces Reopening of Places of Worship

In her statement to Parliament on 9th March 2021, the First Minister announced the Scottish Government’s intention to reopen places of worship for communal worship on Friday 26 March.
As part of the revised Strategic Framework attendance limits will be increased from 20 to 50 people at level 4, where there is space for social distancing. A final decision on this will be taken on Tuesday 23 March and the full details of the announcement can be found here .

This announcement does not change current funeral service restrictions. Attendance remains capped at 20 people for both indoor and outdoor funeral services.
